Bonded LTE Report

This report uses signal metrics and cell configuration to calculate the SurfScore for each detected LTE band* weighted for optimal uplink performance.

*(USA Version, Global versions will include 5G-SA technology if available.)

In addition to the SurfScore we provide details necessary for setting operator and band preferences on your eSIMs, SIMs and bonding devices. Namely; Operator, Band number, Center Freq.

Public Safety Report

Mission critical networks exist to provide the ultimate in reliable mobile communication for first responders across the world. The SurfScore for these networks, in addition to the usual signal metrics, includes range characteristics of the band (preferring lower frequencies), versus uplink capacity, tailored to the handheld devices typically used on these networks.

SurfScore is intended to “fill in the blanks between the bars”, and provide a simple way to quantify and communicate network capacity, historically and in real-time. SurfScan can also be deployed in ‘Sensor Mode’, integrating the public mobile networks into existing alerting and monitoring systems.

Private Mobile Networks Report (CBRS in USA)

Waveriders’ 5G networks for event operations and broadcasters are designed to be self-deployed in as little as 5 minutes. In order to ensure reliable service we needed to be able to quickly ascertain if there were any other users of CBRS GAA spectrum in our immediate area, taking steps to request cleaner frequencies if necessary. This was the original requirement that drove us to create SurfScan, we are first and foremost, users of the product, we hope it shows.

If you’re building private mobile networks of any kind, anywhere in the world, SurfScan will be useful to you. From assessing in building coverage for public networks as part of your initial survey, to verifying ongoing performance and health of networks over time. SurfScan, and the SurfScore system is built to help you win, execute and support.

Expert Report - ALL the data.

The pre-configured reports are all based from the same source data gathered in each scan session. For the curious, this can be viewed and exported in the ‘Expert’ view.
