What does the 5G2GO system do?

Deployed in as little as 5 minutes, the 5G2GO system creates a high speed wireless data network using the latest private 5G technology.

Why Private 5G?

5G Cellular technology is the optimal wireless connectivity technology for ‘Operational Technology’ applications with stringent performance and security requirements. It has been deployed to support a range of applications in the field including;

  • 🎛️ Remote control

  • 💲Point of sale

  • ⏱️ Timing / Scoring

  • 🗣️ Real time communications

Who is 5G2GO built for?

The rapid deployment capabilities of 5G2GO are specifically tailored for temporary deployment at events and mission critical field operations.

How does 5G2GO work?

There are two major components in the 5G2GO system.

  1. The 5G control flypack; consisting of Mobile Core software and networking services.

  2. The 5G Access Point radios.

5G2GO is supplied as a complete system, and can also be integrated with any Ethernet based network. Our control flypack supports up to 10Gbps fiber and copper interfaces for routing and switching.

What devices does 5G2GO support?

Because 5G2GO is based on global IEEE standards for 5G cellular networks you likely already own compatible devices.

We have conducted extensive testing to certify the following devices for use on Waveriders networks;

  • Apple iOS 5G iPhone and iPad

  • Samsung 5G ‘S’ series

  • Haivision Pro series 5G encoders; Pro460, Pro420, Falkon (avail Q4 2025)

  • Teradek Flex 5G and Node 5G equipped encoders.

  • Peplink 5G Routers

  • Cradlepoint 5G Routers
